Introduction

Emergency Communications is a common entry point for many in to the hobby of amateur radio. Many groups exist at the national/international level which are backed by many local chapters staffed with amateur radio operators like you. When infrastructure like telephone service, cellular communications, cable TV, and broadband internet go offline a prepared amateur radio operator can receive and transmit information useful to the survival of themselves and others.

More Information

Events like Cascadia Rising and Seattle ACS exercises help amateur radio operators gain and sharpen emergency communications skills so they can be prepared when emergency strikes.

Take Action
