:I've confirmed that offset is not necessary as long you enter both a receive and transmit frequency. Accordingly, I've removed the line that says: "Use the ▼ key to highlight '''9 Offset''' then press [SELECT] and use the ▼ key until '''Offset -0600Hz''' is displayed then press [SELECT]. (Remember: -0.6 MHz = -600 kHz.)" --[[User:KJ7LQP|KJ7LQP]] ([[User talk:KJ7LQP|talk]]) 20:26, 18 March 2020 (PDT)

Offset Questions

Re: step #8, is offset irrelevant when Rx and Tx freq are both set? In other words, do you need to set all three parameters or just two of the three? Does the AT-D878 display the incorrect units for offset? Should it be kHZ? --KJ7LQP (talk) 16:31, 14 March 2020 (PDT)

I've confirmed that offset is not necessary as long you enter both a receive and transmit frequency. Accordingly, I've removed the line that says: "Use the ▼ key to highlight 9 Offset then press [SELECT] and use the ▼ key until Offset -0600Hz is displayed then press [SELECT]. (Remember: -0.6 MHz = -600 kHz.)" --KJ7LQP (talk) 20:26, 18 March 2020 (PDT)
